KIRSCHBAUM STRINGS & GRIPS

The JWTS announces the official cooperation with Kirschbaum Strings. The specialized string manufacturer is the official string partner of the JWTS Tour.

Since it was founded in 1987, the string manufacturer Kirschbaum strings & grips has established a stable national and international market position with steadily growing sales figures. While in the first few years the production mainly served to supply well-known racket suppliers, the brand name Kirschbaum strings & grips established itself as a guarantee for high-quality tennis strings, especially monofilament polyester strings (PET). For this purpose, own patents and machines for surface finishing were developed and manufactured in cooperation with tennis players and institutes.

string manufacturer Kirschbaum strings & grips has been a leader when it comes to tennis strings for over 30 years. When two logos were still common on the rackets of the professionals, you could see the CHERRY as a brand logo on every second player in Germany and every third player on the ATP tour. Players like Guillermo Canas, Carlos Moya, Gaston Gaudio, Karol Kucera, Anastasia Myskina, Patty Schnyder, Angelique Kerber and Floian Meyer and many more. were on the road as brand ambassadors for the string specialist. Nowadays the racket companies use their market power and usually do not allow a second company logo and so it has become difficult for Kirschbaum strings & grips to present itself visually as a pure string specialist. Nevertheless, numerous professionals still play tennis strings with Kirschbaum today - incognito, so to speak - and the brand is particularly widespread among young people and seniors (e.g. Marvin Möller, Justin Schlageter, Osman Torski, Alexander Windisch, Norbert Henn, Manon Kruse and many more). Kirschbaum is a very service-oriented company and offers every player individual string advice - you don't have to be a professional. Nevertheless, the choice of the string can be decisive and supportive even for recreational and team players.
